Our experience in Prague
I visited Prague years ago before having kids, and it felt like stepping into a fairytale. I knew I wanted to bring my kids back to experience it—and it didn’t disappoint. We visited during the Christmas markets, planning to spend time throughout the country, but we loved Prague so much that we spent our entire trip there.
We explored different areas of the city, stumbled on fun playgrounds and unique street art, and of course, soaked in the festive atmosphere of the Christmas markets. While my kids couldn’t exactly enjoy Prague’s famous beer (or the quirky beer spas), we found so many other family-friendly ways to experience the city.
Even though Prague is a popular tourist destination, it’s a city I could visit again and again. There’s just something magical about it, and it’s surprisingly great for families—playgrounds are everywhere, and there’s plenty to keep kids entertained while parents soak up the city’s rich history and culture.
