As a parent who loves exploring history, culture, and the hidden gems of every city we visit, I’ve learned how to balance what adults want to see with what kids actually enjoy. From iconic landmarks to playground stops and interactive museums, I plan itineraries that keep everyone interested.

Some days that means wandering a walkable old town. Other days it means climbing to a castle viewpoint or exploring a mountain gorge.

Travelling with kids is absolutely possible and still fun. It just takes thoughtful planning.
